Event Calendar If you have an announcement or event that you would like posted here be sure and email us with contact information & details. webmaster@seagla.org For a statewide perspective also see BentAlaska Every Friday night 05/12/12 Please Help Keep Juneau Clean; PFLAG, SEAGLA, GSA joint effort for Adopt a Highway Trash Pick-up. For the last many years SEAGLA and PFLAG have cooperated on this critically important highway cleanup project. We have the most scenic 2 miles of highway in Juneau!! Please show your support by participating! We need you and the more people that help the faster it goes. Meet at 10 AM at the parking lot near Auke Lake. Bags, and Gloves will be provided. PLEASE WEAR BRIGHT COLORED CLOTHING AND PUT A RAINBOW OF COLOR ON THE HIGHWAY. The work is usually done before noon. It is fun, it offers good exercise, and it helps your community, plus you can meet old friends or make new ones, so please come out and join us in this important community event. 5/17-19/12 Fabulous Feme Fatales Fundraiser Shows!! The Amateur Night, Thursday, May 17: Doors will open at 8pm, not 9pm and the show will start at 9pm, not 10pm, the poster is being corrected. Then on Friday and Saturday nights the Ladies from Anchorage will be here to perform at the reguarly appointed times. See the Poster. All proceeds benefit the 4A's (Alaskan Aids Assistance Association) On Friday May 11th the local volunteer committee is meeting to dicuss the shows at the Jaded lounge at 6 PM. Also please come out to meet the Juneau coordinator for the Four A's who will also be present on Friday Night. Additionally she will be selling tickets for the shows, so bring your checkbooks!! 06/23/12 Annual PFLAG and SEAGLA Pride Picnic at Sandy Beach!! 4-8 PM, We need your help to pull it together! SEAGLA will privide some standard grilling items, and we would like your to bring a dish to share, such as salads, desserts, beverages of your choice and whatever seems appropriate for a picnic. Also depending on Weather, we would appreciate it if you could bring some fire wood. Glass containers are not allowed, so plan ahead for that. If you can help out with mucis or games, or anything else. Please plan now to determine what you can do tho make this a wonderful event. Recurring Calendar Items
December 1 ~ World Aids Day Juneau Douglas High School GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) holds weekly meetings every Wednesday at noon. The Thunder Mountain High School has a GSA as well. Look for it. Juneau Pride Chorus rehearses Every TUESDAY night from 5:15-6:45. Across from the Bill Ray Center Downtown, at Resurrection Lutheran Church.
